THE ITSY BITSY FLY
The itsy bitsy fly escaped the spider’s grip.
He flew up a drain pipe until he reached the tip.
Down came the water and drenched the fly in rain.
Then the spider caught up to him and grabbed the fly again.
HAMBLE SCRAMBLE
Hamble Scramble knelt by the trees.
Collecting the rocks from around his knees.
When his prey climbed and sat on the wall,
He threw a large rock and watched him fall.
RUM TUM TUM
Rum tum tum,
The rat played the drums.
The bull smoked more than he should.
The bugs made notes of all that they saw,
And the fence ran away with the wood.
HILDA SWILDA
Hilda Swilda, cookies, and cakes,
Threw rocks at boys to hit their face.
When other girls came out to play,
She hit them too, to stay away.
THE SUN’S OUT
The sun’s out, it’s burning
The children were all learning
They all passed out
Due to the drought
Now the undertaker is earning.
JILL BE FAST
Jill be agile
Jill be fast
Jill dodged through the broken glass
Jill stepped left
Jill stepped right
Jill did not see the mad man’s knife.

Tilda Swinton? What the ass? Isn’t that the ancient one from Dr Strange? What does she have to do with Nursery Rhymes? (I’m genuinely curious.)
