An Affirmation for the Foreseeable Future

I’m tired. I am absolutely sleepy. I’ve been going full throttle for the past 3 months, without any downtime and lethargy has all but conquered me. I am burnt out.

Today, I’m supposed to slide you some pretty phrases about how no matter what life has for you, you’ll always find a way to take those lemons and make lemonade. That’s wonderful and all, but it’s not the words of power I really feel like leaving.

So let’s switch it up a bit. Sometimes, you don’t have to deal with obstacles. Sometimes, the goals you’ve set for yourself are unrealistic or unreasonably difficult to obtain. I can barely keep my eyes open on a daily basis to the point that I’ve been shotgunning two energy drinks a day just to deal with the tedium of a regular work day. I’ve been doing that all while trying to maintain a wonderfully entertaining blog and fulfill my daydreams of being an author. And to add insult to injury, my agency starts inventory soon so I’ll be working 11 hour days, six days a week. Somethings got to give.

Not everything is necessary. Sometimes you have to take a step back, grab a pillow, and nap all over your problems. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed trying to do everything. Relax, Bub. Take a nap and finish that stuff later.

With that said, with the drastic changes occurring with my daytime work schedule, TTR will go back to a less rigid, more fluid, unscheduled format for the remainder of 2019. I know you guys were getting used to the daily gold we’ve been supplying, but life makes a way….to burn me out.

I still love you all though.
