Building on yesterday’s post, I’d like to help reinvigorate your week with a few words of encouragement. I once heard a song that said “joy comes in the morning. Troubles, they don’t last always.” Let that be your motto for the next few days. No matter what you are feeling right now, the sun will come out tomorrow. You can bet your bottom dollar.
Things might get stressful. Things may get intense. “But no matter what may come [your] way,” you will be able to get through it. This week will not beat you. When it has you against the ropes, channel the great boxing deity, Muhammad Ali, and “rope-a-dope” this week until it says your name.
Now I’ve used a lot of analogies and borrowed a lot of words from more obscure, lesser known sources than The Thought Renaissance. And although those phrases may not be as famous or thought provoking as the ones you’ve encountered in other posts on this site, the meaning behind them is sound. You can do this. Dry those tears. Bandage those scars. Put lotion on those knuckles. You are an unstoppable force in an existence devoid of immovable objects. You will never surrender.
This post had some really dope wording. I’m kind of proud of myself.— Me (Jae Davis)
