Since you have refused to reach out to me thus far, I suppose I will take the first step.

Hi! I’m Jae! I bet you’re wondering why I’m writing you, specifically. That makes sense. It’s not everyday that some guy on the internet shows interest in someone they’ve never seen, met, or heard. So I guess I should explain myself.

I’m bored. Well, I’m mentally stagnant and I’m hoping that you could help me out of this funk. Believe it or not, I’m a very anxious person. Not in the sense like I like to get stuff done, but in the sense that I have issues with socialization. It’s both physically and mentally exhausting for me to be around a lot of people. But, as odd as this may sound, I like to talk to people. I’m an oxymoron, I know.

It has recently occurred to me that I need new avenues of conversation. I need dialogue. I have a best friend named “Harmony.” She’s great. She recently got into art which opened up an ass of new conversation trees between us, but I know she sometimes gets exhausted with me. She has a whole 3 lives that she lives, all with multiple roles, so when I try to hold her hostage for 10 hours of conversation, it doesn’t always work out in my favor.

I am hoping that you’ll respond to this, because I’m genuinely interested in talking to you. I get it. You want to know what to expect, right? See! That’s why I want to chat. You’re always thinking a step or two ahead.

Truthfully, all I want is written conversations between us. I don’t need your real name. I don’t need to know what you look like. I don’t need or want to swap numbers. I don’t want or need to know your sex, nationality, religion, or location. I just want random, interestingly diverse conversations on a fairly frequent basis. Our friendship can be 100% text based and electronic.

From me, you can expect stories about my day. You can expect questions upon questions about your thoughts on the most random things. And you can expect clear, concise, intimate responses to your messages.
